Capture preparation
FrameForge
Turn video into deliberate photogrammetry inputs.FrameForge prepares source video for photogrammetry without treating every second of a recording the same. Operators can give slow, detailed passes and fast transitions different sampling rates before reconstruction begins.
A verified interface capture will fill this frame when release media is available. No fictional product UI is being presented as finished software.
01 / Context
More frames do not automatically produce a better model.
Video can provide the overlap a photogrammetry project needs, but uniform extraction often creates thousands of nearly identical images. Those frames add storage, alignment time, and review work without necessarily adding useful viewpoints.
FrameForge lets the operator respond to the recording itself. A slow, detailed pass can use one extraction rate; a fast transition or unusable section can use another—or be omitted completely.
02 / Capabilities
Purpose-built controls, without unrelated complexity.
Extract only the frames a reconstruction needs, with precise control over sampling rates across the timeline.
- 01
Segment-based extraction
Set a different frames-per-second value for every selected timeline range.
- 02
Focused timeline review
Use video-editor-style controls designed specifically for identifying useful extraction ranges.
- 03
Accelerated playback
Use hardware-accelerated FFmpeg decoding where the operating system supports it.
- 04
Orderly output
Keep numbering continuous across multiple selected ranges, including intentional gaps.
- 05
Export control
Choose JPEG or PNG output, scale dimensions, and set JPEG quality.
- 06
Maintained releases
Receive signed updates, license activation, and an offline grace period.
03 / Workflow
A focused path from source material to useful evidence.
- 01
Review the source
Open the video and identify changes in speed, overlap, blur, and scene usefulness.
- 02
Define the ranges
Mark the parts to extract and assign the sampling rate each range actually needs.
- 03
Export the sequence
Create a consistently named image set for the photogrammetry application of your choice.
